5 Easy Ways to Clean Your Dropper Bottles

December 25, 2017 by Kala Ross

If you’re working in an industry that uses dropper bottles, you know how important it is for you to keep these items as clean as possible. This is due to the types of liquids being used, and you don’t want to leave anything to chance, especially if you’re dealing with the public. Because of this, it is important that you make the decision to utilize different methods to clean these bottles and get them to where they are clean, sparkling and sanitary.

Boiling in Water

The first method of cleaning dropper bottles is to put them into a bowl or pot of gently boiling water. You do this the same way you would if you were cleaning baby bottles at home. The boiling water helps to get rid of germs and bacteria because of the high heat. Be careful when straining the water, as it is going to be very hot and can easily burn you if you are not too careful with what you are doing.

Hot Water and Soap

Good old-fashioned hot water and soap can do wonders when it comes to cleaning dropper bottles and getting them ready for a new liquid or product. You will want to use a small bottle brush so that you can get into the grooves of the bottle and remove any debris or leftover product from before.

Dishwasher

The dishwasher either at home or in the office can do wonders in terms of getting your dropper bottles as clean as possible. This is a product that is sure to get hot, soapy water into every crevice of the bottle and dropper so that it is cleaned properly. This is also the quickest and easiest way to clean your items, as you just load them up and turn a machine on to do the work for you.

Recycling and Restoring

If your dropper bottles are incredibly dirty and problematic, you might want to consider recycling them and getting brand new. This is important because of the fact that there are a lot of sellers out there giving away their dropper bottles at reasonable prices, which helps when you need new ones and are getting rid of the old.

Vinegar Soak

Soaking the bottles in vinegar can get rid of a variety of debris and other problems, and this is an easy and rather inexpensive way for you to make sure that you’re cleaning the items you need.

There are a lot of benefits to keeping those amazing bottles as clean as possible. By using any one of these methods, you are sure to have dropper bottles that are clean and fresh for future use.
